Luminist is an experimental rock band which lofts stark, elegant melodies over searing rhythm and binds them together with electric teeth. Formed in early 2015 by three longtime collaborating members of Brooklyn’s improvised music scene, Luminist draws upon the influences of Deerhoof, Sam Amidon, and Here We Go Magic in carving out a musical sphere that recalls the ghosts of the American future.
